Daylight saving
Under US rules, daylight saving time starts on the second Sunday in March and ends on the first Sunday in November, at 2:00 AM local time. Eastern, Central, Mountain (Denver), and Pacific all follow that calendar, so the hour gap between any two of them holds on ordinary dates.
The labels change with the season. Eastern Time is EST in winter and EDT in summer. Pacific Time is PST, then PDT. The live clocks show the abbreviation that matches the date.
Arizona
Most of Arizona does not observe daylight saving. Phoenix uses America/Phoenix and stays on MST. The Mountain Time page on this site uses America/Denver. From March to November, Denver is two hours behind New York and Phoenix is three.
